Campaign Terms & Conditions

Jakarta Running Festival 2026 charity campaign · Effective 5 July 2026

These terms govern donations made through this campaign page operated by Recompound (PT Solusi Brilian Digital Nusantara) in partnership with 1000 Days Fund (Yayasan Seribu Cita Bangsa). By donating you agree to the following.

1. What this campaign is

  1. This is a charity fundraising campaign in which the public makes voluntary flat donations to 1000 Days Fund, run by Recompound to mark the marathon of Hans Toby Limanto ("Toby") at the Jakarta Running Festival on 25 October 2026.
  2. For the general public this is a straightforward donation — not a per-kilometre pledge. You give an amount of your choosing, once, at the time you donate.

2. How to donate

  1. Donations are made directly via QRIS using any Indonesian mobile banking or e-wallet app. Rp 150,000 is our suggested amount, but any amount, or a multiple of it, is welcome.
  2. Your donation is completed immediately when you scan and pay. No account is created, and there is no post-race billing.
  3. Toby's own commitment (see clause 4) is separate and must not be read as how members of the public are expected to give.

3. Where your donation goes

  1. 100% of your donation goes to 1000 Days Fund. Recompound does not collect, hold, process, or take any fee or cut from public donations.
  2. The QRIS account is operated by 1000 Days Fund (Yayasan Seribu Cita Bangsa) as the verified beneficiary; funds settle directly to the fund.
  3. 1000 Days Fund issues donor tax receipts (kwitansi) for individual donations in line with Indonesian non-profit norms.

4. Toby's founder pledge (separate from public giving)

  1. As a personal commitment, Toby pledges Rp 5,000 per kilometre he trains (approximately 1,000 km, or about Rp 5,000,000 in total), paid by Recompound within 60 days of race day.
  2. If Toby finishes the full marathon in an official chip time under 3 hours 10 minutes, his founder pledge doubles to Rp 10,000 per kilometre (about Rp 10,000,000). This applies only to his own pledge, not to public donations.
  3. The doubler reflects athletic performance and is not a bet, wager, or game of chance. If Toby is injured, cannot start, or does not finish, his pledge is honoured on the kilometres actually trained and the doubler does not trigger; public donations already made are unaffected.

5. Training transparency

  1. Toby's training is logged to a public Strava profile for the duration of the campaign (5 July – 25 October 2026), so his mileage is transparent and independently visible.

6. Refunds

  1. Donations are voluntary gifts and are generally non-refundable once made.
  2. If you believe a donation was made in error or in the wrong amount, contact us at marathon@recompound.id and we will work with 1000 Days Fund in good faith to resolve it.

7. Rewards

  1. Reward tiers (campaign frame, tee, patch & sticker pack, field-visit invitation draw entry) are provided by Recompound as its own marketing expense and do not reduce any donation.
  2. Rewards are fulfilled after race day. Tee coupon codes are single-use and emailed to qualifying donors.
  3. Tier eligibility is based on your total donation amount to the campaign.

8. Field-visit invitation draw

  1. Donors whose total donation is Rp 5,000,000 or more (the Gold tier) are entered into a random draw for one or two invitations to join Toby and the Recompound team on an approximately 3-day visit to a 1000 Days Fund program site in East Nusa Tenggara.
  2. The draw is an invitation drawn at random among eligible donors — it is not a lottery, prize competition, or game of chance, and no separate purchase or payment is required to enter beyond the qualifying donation.
  3. The draw is conducted around mid-September 2026. Travel, accommodation, and on-site logistics for the invited donor(s) are covered by Recompound. Dates are mutually agreed with 1000 Days Fund and are subject to availability and safety considerations.
  4. Invited donors must be able to travel domestically within Indonesia on the agreed dates. If an invited donor is unable to attend, another eligible donor may be drawn.

9. Changes, cancellation & good faith

  1. Donations already made go to 1000 Days Fund regardless of whether the race takes place. If the race is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed by the organiser, Toby's founder pledge is honoured on the kilometres trained, and we will communicate next steps transparently.
  2. Recompound and 1000 Days Fund will act in good faith to wind down the campaign responsibly should it end early, including honouring commitments already made.
  3. These terms may be updated for clarity or to reflect operational details; the version in effect at the time you donate applies, and material changes will be communicated.

10. Privacy

  1. If you share your name, email, or Instagram handle to claim a reward or receive updates, we use it solely to fulfil rewards and communicate about the campaign. Personal information is handled in line with applicable Indonesian data-protection norms and is not sold. QRIS transaction records are held by 1000 Days Fund and its payment provider.
